Its the MK-Moto! – curveballing in from the further reaches of Planet Klunk.
But back on earth, what we have is a fab rollercoasting freewheeling freedom machine. Same geometry as the Dirtbomb/Speedbomb/Dirt Tracker but in two sizes and a lot more stack height for dreamy off-road action. There are also plenty of mounting points (rear triangle for bottle cages, racks etc, 2 cage mounts in the main triangle, triple under the downtube, fork leg mounts etc). So its klunky and a great rigid trail bike built for huge doses of fun, but its also plenty ready for dirt touring and bikepacking and everything in between.
Sizes and sizing? There are 2 sizes – 18″ with 625mm ETT, and 19″ with 645mm ETT. Anyone up to 5’11 (180cm) go with the 18, and anyone 6′ and over (183cm) go with the 19. I’m 5’11 and the 19 is too large for me to feel comfortable on.
Colours – There are 3 – Radberry Magenta, Scramblin’ Blue, and That Nice Green (from the MK4 back in 2019).
General info – frameset comes supplied with frame, fork, thru axles, 73mm threaded EBB insert, all mounting bolts, seatclamp.
Axle standards are 148 x 12 rear, 110 x 15 front.
Seatpost size is 30.9
Frame is constructed from triple butted chromoly and is ED coated before paint. Forks are triple butted and brazed biplanes for a super ride quality.
